Our first cabin story

Two nights, and nowhere we needed to be.

We arrived at Wildwood Quarry on Easter Sunday and stayed through Bank Holiday Monday, heading home on the Tuesday. Sycamore Cabin was completely new — and Chris and Sarah had the honour of being the first people to stay in it.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and very well equipped. More than anything, the setting felt genuinely peaceful: trees around us, open countryside beyond and enough quiet to make two nights feel like a proper break.

It was the mixture that made the stay: a cabin that felt ready for us, breakfast in the sunshine, a fire outside and a walk among the trees.

What made Sycamore special.

A genuine first

We were Sycamore Cabin’s very first guests. It felt fresh, thoughtfully finished and already had everything we needed for a comfortable two-night stay.

Time outside

The outdoor hot tub and fire pit gave us even more reason to slow down and enjoy the setting rather than filling every hour with plans.

Even more to come
